Politicians should be young –younger adult understand the changing of world better.

I’ve fortunately grown up in a democratic country since I was born after a dictatorial time. After that, every president was fifty years old or so and most of the politicians who worked with them were so old as well. I accept that the experience is really important to know how to take some significant measures and to deal with political issues. However, in my opinion, it’s possible to achieve a balance between experience and young thought, integrating in the government young people and old one. My reasons are that:
    - Young people can incorporate new and fresh ideas and new perspectives. In contrast, old people tend to keep past ideas.
    - Is a well-known fact that young adults usually are more progressives and idealists, which is important to advance in equality, ecology, education, health…
    - In general, adults are accommodated in a position and don’t like making changes.
To sum up, I think is essential the increase of participation of young people in politics, although I reckon the importance of experience. Both, young and old politicians have to work all together to enhance the world.

  2. When I was a child my parents don’t allow me to eat Junk Food, only some Sundays, and I grew up very healthy.
Some time ago I read a new about how Junk Food addicts have the same brain activity as a drug addict; it can be dangerous because people who eat Fast Food can not leave it! In my case, I try not to eat this kind of food; it has lots of fat, sugar… it can produce healthy problems like Cholesterol, Diabetes…
I accept that it tastes delicious, but it can shorten lives and should be made illegal. In my opinion, we have changed our eating habits, here we have some reasons:
    - Cities are full of places where you can buy Fast Food, and people has less time to cook than some years ago, for that it’s intake has grown.
    - It tastes delicious and it’s low-priced.
    - It is more attractive than vegetables and fruits.

I feel that we should reconsider our alimentary habits, and try to change them, and the Governments have to increase the quality controls of this kind of meals.

  3. Children should take care of their parents when they get old

Parents are morally and legally obligated to care for their children when they are young. Why not have the same visions for our parents? It is supposed, therefore that when those children grow up and their parents become elderly, they take up some responsability to provide a decent life for their parents. I could argue this for both yes and no, however my choice is yes.

I feel lucky, I have grown up in close family, and we have always helped each other, despite our difference. Nevertheless there are other things to take into account, like the family relationship.

Reasons that make me think like this:
.- Elderly parents can teach our own children so much wisdom, even they can help in the care of their grandparents. Grandchildren realice how important family is.
.- Our parents are the ones who gave us life and tried to instill morals and love in our life.
.- It is mutual love and affection.
.- If you do all that you can for your parents, you can feel good about it when they are gone.

Absolutely, I believe adult children should care for their aging, we talk about a reciprocal relationship, to return the affection and our best.

    1. I agree to extent, but nowadays we are busy (work, friends..) and we can't care properly our elderly parents. So, I think that our elderly parents are better in an reteirement home or nursing home. Where they have friends, medical care.. We can visit unless once a week.

  4. Children should take care of their parents when they get old.

Nowadays, my parents take care of my grandmother, she almost can't walk and she needs a lot of help.
I consider that is really difficult to my parents do it, because they work eight hours per day and need help of another person.
When my parents get older, I'll take care of them.

There are some reasons for that:

    - Our parents dedicated a lot of time to look after us, to give us whatever we need...
    - They were allowed us to grow up healthy and have a decent life.
    - They give us lots of love.

I really feel that everyone should do it, you can feel very fine, and some day your task will be rewarded.

    POLITICIANS SHOULD BE YOUNG

I would like to pick up on the point made by Meli, about politicians, that should be younger. To start with, I could say that I grew up in a very little town, not being aware of the political problems, until it’s been quite annoying to see how many of these politicians have been corrupted by wealth and power.
Nowadays, I feel sometimes embarrassed for those who represent us people. That’s why I believe politicians should change their jobs more frequently, and let younger generations to deal with the shifting society problems.
    Here are my reasons:
    - The lack of experience is more than supplemented by an enthusiastic behaviour, and no corruption guaranteed in most of the cases
    - Moreover, the issue of new technologies is better understood by young politicians, generally speaking.
    - The more time spent in a powerful charge, the more probable to fall into corruption matters.

Concluding, I believe that a generational change in politics is truly needed. Because of that, it would be interesting that politicians changed their job more often, being retired from politics after 15 years, and in the end, look for another job.

Junk food can shorten lives and should be made illegal

When I was a child I used to have fast food at home because my parents had to work long hours every day, so my mother had no time to cook at all. Most of times I helped her and I prepared easy meal to all my family.
Nowadays lots of people often have junk food, above all young people because they don´t realize that eating healthy doesn´t mean eating bland and boring food, rather when you learn to enjoy natural unprocessed foods and start to explor all of the varieties of natural healthy foods this planet has to offer.

In my opinion, eating junk food has nothing at all to do with enjoying life, actually

    - when you give up junk food you enjoy living more because you fell better all the time and have more energy every day...
    - getting into better shape by not eating junk food gives you more confidence because you actually look better.
    - another interesting thing is that organic food is cheaper than junk food, that`s really important nowadays because there´re a lot of people on the dole. They might can´t afford to buy ready meals.

So anyway, On one hand, Although I don´t think that junk food should be made illegal, because everyone should be free to choose what to eat and how to organize their time to cook natural foods or buy junk food.
By the other hand, I strongly believe that people should eat more natural organic food, thus they could reduce the risk of bad illness.

  7. Junk food can shorten lives and should be made illegal.

In my childhood, there weren't junk food restaurants like Mc Donalds in my town, but I used to eat junk food, specially factory-backed goods. Despite this, there weren't as many people with health problems related to obesity as nowadays, so we don't have to blame on junk food exclusively. In my opinion, junk food shouldn't be banned because:

    - It's not the only cause of obesity, there are other important reasons like sedentarism.
    - Prohibition is not the right way to solve a problem. Moreover, if we ban something, we are also reducing our individual rights. It's a well-known fact that smoking can cause cancer, Shall we ban it as well? And what about alcohol?

I feel that authorities have to encourage people to practice sports and follow a balanced diet rather than cutting down our freedom of choice.

  8. Junk food can shorten lives and should be made illegal.
I have always been fed with healthy food, mainly because my parents didn’t have enough money to take me out to lunch or dinner to those kind of fast-food restaurants. Only when I left home, several years ago, I had to take junk food because of the lack of time to prepare a proper meal
After several years have been eating junk food, and I have to say that, in spite of it tastes really good, government should control the aliments’ quality of restaurants in order to resolve this huge drawback.
To sum up, I must to say that I’m totally agree with the idea of making it illegal, as long as don’t affect the restaurants’ benefits, especially because they are a big source of job.

  9. JUNK FOOD CAN SHORTEN LIVES

Most people usually eat junk food because it’s very cheap, it has got a lot of flavour, it’s easy to get and it fills you up.
I accept that people eat this kind of food, even I often eat it. However, in my opinion junk food can seriously damage our health, it can even shorten our life expectancy.

The reasons that I believe this are:

-Junk food contains lots of calories, saturated fat, salt, sugar…
It can lead to obesity, diabetes….
-It’s loaded with cholesterol, that can cause cardiovascular problems.
    -It can become an addiction.

I feel that everybody should reduce their consumption of junk food and eat foods rich in nutrients, vitamins and minerals, in order to have a healthy and lasting life.

  10. Averagely speaking most politicians are over 40 years old, and the reason why is not exactly that they have done a long and hard degree in law, contrary to expectations some of them haven't made a college degree.
We can see them on television all days, wearing theirs black, grey or blue suit, even some of them use makeup. So, you can compare them to birds flying over the rest of the people except when the legislative elections are called, at this moment they descend to the masses to collect precious votes.

All things considered, I believe politicians should be young, younger adults understand the changing world better. My reasons are that:

        *
On the whole, young people are more sensitive and warlike than adult people.
        *
Young people have fewer prejudices. We have grown up in a equal and free society, and that is a good life lesson to govern any country.

I feel strongly that our politicians won't face up the reality and they are more interested in their own careers than in sincere public service, ambitious to gain their personal ends.
